‘REVEALED’… showcases the work of abstract artists Ashley Hanson and Sophie Capron, strikingly individualistic yet complimentary, connected through the materiality of paint - transformed by time - and their response to place and memory.
‘REVEALED’… is both artists captivation with the interactions of man and nature in both subject and process, evident in Sophie’s visual simulations of ‘how nature and time encroach on the flawless wall or immaculate façade’ and shorthanded in Ashley’s coastal work by the frisson between the curved and the linear, geometry and gesture.
