We are delighted to open up applications for our exhibition at the Old Fire Station in Henley-on-Thames.

If you have been on any of our 'Freedom in Painting' courses in Cornwall (or the online 'Porthleven' course, you are eligible to participate in our third 'Cornwall, Colour & Coast' exhibition.

Thurs 13 - 18 November 2025
Open Daily 10am - 5pm

Each artist is guaranteed to show between 2 - 4 paintings. (Artists attending our Autumn Porthleven courses in Cornwall can apply providing the paintings are dry).

On the afternoon of Saturday 15th November, we'll have a Meet the Artists Open Day with refreshments, that we hope you can attend.

KEY DATE: The last day for registration is Mon 6th October 2025.

Information for Artists

• The gallery is open daily including Sunday and we ask exhibiting artists to volunteer if possible a full or half-day invigilation during the exhibition.
• The hire cost is £384 to be shared amongst the artists plus a £20 p.p contribution towards publicity and drinks & nibbles for the Open Day. 
• Delivery of the paintings is on Wednesday 12th November, 2 - 3.30pm.
• Collection of paintings is on Tuesday 18 November 5-7pm.

We have worked with many of you over the years and hope you will join in this exciting opportunity to show your work. Our past three exhibitions have been a huge success with 20 plus artists participating and plenty of visitors and sales.

I'm delighted to be showing 'Porthleven 76 (Hot Red)' in the Associates Exhibition at the Penwith gallery, St. Ives. Exhibition continues until 3 March 2025. The painted was made in Porthleven on at The Old Lifeboat House on last years Oct 'Freedom in Painting' course.

Many of you attend our courses and return each year and we really want to thank-you for your continued support. This is why we are continuing with our loyalty programme for bookings for our courses and workshops. This is a rolling scheme introduced from January 2023.

HOW DOES IT WORK

If you attend four courses or workshops (including online workshops) - with at least one being a course in Cornwall - you will be eligible for a 'Penzance 9' Signed, Limited Edition (50) giclee on archival quality paper. The image 30x40cms is an identical size to the original painting. 

You will receive your print by post or at the attendance of your fourth course/workshop. Please note you can only qualify for one print in a calendar year.

If you have already qualified for a free print of 'Penzance 9', we have a new print of Ashley's 'Porthleven 60 (The Gap)' as your reward! This is a very special painting that is not for sale as it's part of our own collection. The print will be another Signed, Limited Edition (50) 30x40cms once again on archival quality paper.

I'm very excited to be joining Kellie Miller Arts, an artist-owned Contemporary Gallery based in The Lanes in Brighton. A collection of paintings from across my series will be on display during August.
